Pork Satay Sticks
Ingredients
For the Sticks
500g Pork Mince
1/2 jar (110g) Lee Kum Kee Satay Sauce
1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple in juice, - reserve the juice
1/4 cup of chopped roasted peanuts
Tooth picks or bamboo BBQ sticks
For those who like it spicy- add 1 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce
For the Satay Sauce
1/2 jar (110g) Lee Kum Kee Satay Sauce
1 cup coconut cream
Drained pineapple juice
Method:
Mix pork mince, 1/2 the satay sauce, the roasted peanuts and pineapple together in a bowl using clean hands.
Shape into 12 balls and flatten into patties or roll into small sausage shapes.
Cook on the solid hot plate of a pre-heated BBQ on medium heat, turning during cooking until done. They will take around 5 -10 minutes.
Serving suggestion:
After cooking insert a stick and eat with a satay dipping sauce.
Satay Dipping Sauce. Simply heat together the remaining Satay Sauce with the coconut cream and the drained pineapple juice. |
