Pork Spare Ribs and BBQ\'ed Pork Slices
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1kg 100% New Zealand pork spare ribs or pork slices (skinned and bone removed)
2 tablespoons Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger (or Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger)
1/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Sweet Chili Sauce
1/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Plum Sauce
Method:
Place spare ribs or slices in a saucepan and cover with water.
Add the soy sauce and ginger.
Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes.
Drain, cool and cover.
In a bowl mix the Sweet Chili and Plum Sauce together.
Add the ribs or slices and coat thoroughly.
Cook on the grill or hot plate of a pre-heated BBQ on medium heat.
Baste and turn until glazed and hot (10-15 minutes).
